Age of Reason Kriegspiel is now open for enlistment

Age of Reason Kriegspiel is now open as an international PBEM club for Wargame Design Studio’s Musket & Pike titles set in the Age of Reason.

The club provides a simple framework for arranging battles, reporting results, maintaining an officer roster, and building a modest military career through points, ranks, and honours.

New officers may enlist through the official Enlistment Form. Completed club battles should be reported through the Battle Result Report so the Roster can be updated.

The club is free to join and play. It is an independent players’ club and is not affiliated with Wargame Design Studio.

Tactics and Doctrine of Light Infantry in the 18th Century

Wargame Design Studio has published a useful article on the tactics and doctrine of light infantry in the eighteenth century. It is particularly relevant for players of the Musket & Pike series and for understanding the battlefield role of irregulars, skirmishers, and light troops during the Age of Reason.
